As a company
Code-Q Oy is a Finnish software company founded in 2013 that develops speech technology and assistive technology software and offers software expert services.
The first assistive software
In 2014, we developed our first assistive software, the voice-controlled mobile phone assistant DialoQ Mobile. Since then, we have developed several solutions to facilitate communication, the use of information technology and environmental management. With our solutions, users can communicate or control devices with voice, switches or voice signals.
DialoQ's assistive software has thousands of users every day in schools, homes and workplaces.
The first speech synthesis in Finnish with a child's voice
During 2018, we published the first speech synthesis that works with the voice of a Finnish-speaking child. Speech synthesis has been developed especially for communication and has been implemented, first in the world, the possibility to animate the formed sentence according to the user's emotional state. So now the person who communicates with the help of speech synthesis can whisper, shout or even joke the sentence he spoke.

About us
Code-Q has unique experience in speech recognition, speech synthesis, text input methods and embedded software.
The founders of the company have previously worked at Nuance Communications, the world’s largest voice technology developer. Before this, they have developed embedded software and multimodal user interfaces, such as multilingual user interfaces and predictive text input solutions.
All DialoQ software products and services are developed and manufactured in Finland.
